NBTY Changes Its Name

NBTY Inc. announced today that it is changing its corporate name to The Nature’s Bounty Co. to better reflect its commitment to global wellness.

Steve Cahillane, president/CEO, The Nature’s Bounty Co., said, “As a wellness company, we are committed to providing people with thousands of high-quality products that help to complement their lifestyles and their physical health. As a name, The Nature’s Bounty Co. more accurately reflects the commitment we have to support wellness by leveraging science and nature.”

The Nature’s Bounty Co. includes three key businesses: Consumer Products Group, Holland & Barrett International and Puritan’s Pride.

The Nature’s Bounty Co. family of brands includes its flagship brand, Nature’s Bounty, as well as Sundown Naturals, Solgar, Pure Protein, Organic Dr., and more.
